51. Oh Please has anyone researched her life or picked up Newsweek.
Most of the people in this thread should be ashamed of their selves. This is a black woman who struggle to get out of the inner city and to make a life for herself. If you all dont get that being black in america is hard than you are cold hearted bastards. She faced racism at Princeton and Harvard. Because she wasn't out for herself during those times she helped to teach local inner city students. This is a remarkable woman who NO ONE who claims to be to be tolerant of other races shall not bash this strong woman's pride of finally being like a true American. When I see some HRC and Edwards supporters bash Michelle Obama it makes me sick. It also makes me never want to vote for any of those candidates ever again. I AM MICHELLE OBAMA. There are many of us black women who ARE MICHELLE OBAMA. I've had to deal with the same issues in America that she has as a black woman. I can't relate to HRC she has had all the privilege that many of us never had. All these attacks IMHO just hurts the opposition more. Thats why IMHO you saw SC blacks stick with Obama. And most black blogs like Jack and Jill Politics etc are supporting the Obamas. When I see the disgusting trashing of this heroic woman I am truly sicken to my stomach.
In fact I agree with Michelle this is a proud moment for the people who have struggled here especially the black community. This is the first time I FEEL like an American. This is the first time I ever wanted to vote in a primary, this is the first time my family has ever donated money or donated their time. I don't have a problem with Michelle Obama its just narrow minded people who want to tear a strong woman like Michelle Obama down who has struggled in this country to lift herself up out of the inner city and to make more of herself than just being black.
