193. Dear Friend, Politcs is Personal.
It is why we are involved. We would be like the other half of America who don't vote, hate the government, but don't do a damn thing about it. We take politics personally because we know how this is affecting our lives, and the future. I am quite happy to be a Democrat at this time. I think the Democratic Party is in better shape, and less corrupt than it used to be 25 years ago. I will admit to most of the facts in my life, yet I do not deserve to be beaten over the head, neither do you, nor anyone else. I admit I am playing hardball against the Republicans, then again they have been playing hardball since day one. For some reason, Democrats are not playing hardball enough, though approximately a 1/2 to 2/3 of the House, and Senate generally are serving our interests most of the time. This is based on my anecdotal observation observing how the Democrats in the Legislature are voting.
