The problem isn't so much the plagiarism. It's the inauthenticity and non-originality of the man. It shows that he's really much more of a creature of political manipulators and spin-meisters and pollsters than he present himself. He's supposed to be the newest thing under the sun. But he's just an empty vessel into which his paid campaign manager is pouring his latest field-tested tropes. Deval Patrick was the test run for Barack Obama's rhetoric.
