with the neo-con agenda. Had the party stayed more moderate or even conservative, this effect may not have happened.

A lot of RW are thoroughly disgusted with the Bush administration and want to go on a different path.

They are ready to look past social issues that they feel have hijacked their votes and looking to someone who can truly lead from a perspective of putting this country first, not the cronies of the elect.

This is also why I believe that this momentum to Democrats isn't about the party -- it is about the message and in Obama, it is resonating and people are willing to give up decades of fast held beliefs (many rooted in decades of nothing but fighting) and willing to give him a chance.

Unfortunately, I don't see Hillary drawing that same level of enthusiasm, and agree that the Obamacans won't give her the opportunity.
