Reply #19: This 47 year old woman supports Obama

I'm thrilled to see the 'youth' come out this election and get involved even more than they did 4 years ago. And I'm tired of the generalizations as well -- that Obama supporters are just behind him because of some cult of personality, and Clinton supporters are all older and/or women who HAVE to support her because she's a woman. I always vote for the candidate who best represents my views. Of course, in this election, it's the lesser of two evils for me, as I was really hoping Edwards could have stayed in the race. My 41 year old boyfriend is also an Obama supporter, after initially supporting Kucinich.

I rarely even read GD-P, there is so much hate and bashing going on in here, but I saw your thread and had to let you know not all of us 'old folk' are as you have experienced here. :)
