8. Obama balances intellect, reason, and solid policy proposals with inspiration, passion and vision.

He combines more of the characteristics I believe we need in a leader right now that does any other candidate.

People can skip the failed "no substance" opposition meme. It was tried, and it failed. Obama talks substantively and specifically about policy and issues in his speeches. He did when I saw him. He did again tonight. He did on super Tuesday. And there has been sixty-four pages of specific legislative initiatives and public policy proposals in detail as part of his campaign for ages now.

Obama has regularly published op-eds and pieces of major media highlighting different specific parts of his policy plans for months. The whole "empty suit" thing was merely a failed ploy - a tactic - to try and spread that message before people really had a chance to see the truth for themselves. It failed.

Now you combine his policy substance with his passion, intellect and gravitas and blend that with his ability to mobilize the american public, and you have what we haven't had in a long, long time: a real leader.
