16. That's BS. He directly confronted the bigots when speaking at MLK's church
He drew widespread praise for it throughout the gay community for saying to the black community:
"We have scorned our gay brothers and sisters instead of embracing them"

Except of course for gaywired.com, which appears to have written a whole article about his speech without mentioning it. And now they write this endorsement, ignoring it as well.
