Some time ago I started thinking Mark Penn resembled Karl Rove in tactical maneuvers. It occurred to me perhaps there might be a connection. I googled Mark Penn Karl Rove and was extremely surprised at the hits I received. Granted, the ones I started to read were opinion posts suggesting exactly my suspicion. But one of those quotes was from Edwards himself. He remarked Mark Penn was Hillary Clinton's Karl Rove. After I read that, I did not spend the next couple of hours flipping through the remainder of the pages. If Edwards thinks that, it's good enough for me.
