The old-guard and the DLC support Clinton. Obama could fall behind in delegates. Clinton could experience a backlash. In the South Carolina debate, some of her responses received boos from the audience. She does NOT have a lock on the nomination. Many Democrats don't like her any more than independents and Republicans dislike her.

Clinton is backed by the DLC and there is an opposing Democratic block that dislikes Clinton and is supporting Obama.
The campaign has been largely a battle between these two camps. Neither wants to talk policy issues. They want to duke it out only on personality issues. This is why they are marginalizing Edwards. He brings up the policy issues and distracts the voters from the popularity contest.

However, there are a lot of uncommitted delegates. If the discord between Clinton and Obama continues all the way to the convention, the Democrats may yet wake up to the fact that Edwards is our best candidate in the general election. Vote for Edwards. He needs delegates to have clout at the convention. Your vote for Edwards will count more than a vote for Obama or Clinton. Your vote for Edwards will NOT be wasted.
