She has since been a Democratic first Lady of a State and a Democratic First lady of the U.S. and a current Democratic Senator.
Obama on the other hand is a Democrat running for President in the here and now invoking reagans name and shaming Democrats. In Case You Missed It: In the same interview in which he praised Ronald Reagan, Sen. Obama criticized a generation of Democrats nationwide: "I think it’s fair to say that the Republicans were the party of ideas for a pretty long chunk of time there over the last 10-15 years in the sense that they were challenging conventional wisdom."
