issued contempt citations for rove and bolton. used his authority as JC chairman to strip immunity for telecoms from the FIAA bill. Authored and sponsored the Habeas Restoration Act. Authored and is sponsor of the War Profiteering Prevention Act. co-authored cluster bomb restriction legislation- and much more. Leahy has done more in ONE year for progressive causes than Edwards did in 6, and in the previous 32 years? Edwards will never get close to attaining the kink of liberal record that Leahy has. He's truly a Johny come lately.
