Presidential TV ads I recently saw while in eastern Iowa
Advertisements [?]
You can't help but notice the TV ads if you are in Iowa. From memory, here's the list of ads I saw over a 2 day period this weekend:

20+ times - Joe Biden ad "Office" (http://joebiden.com/home )
15+ times - Two Obama ads http://link.brightcove.com/services/link/bcpid135832133...
15+ times - Huckabee ads http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TRnSx9rBgcw & http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wqi-pDhHv9g
15+ times - Hillary Clinton http://www.hillaryclinton.com/video/94.aspx http://www.hillaryclinton.com/video/91.aspx
10+ times - Edwards ad http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=52iZ6dlTxPU
10+ times - Ron Paul http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wekzQrQfacg
5+ times - Mitt Romney http://tv.mittromney.com/?showid=728416
5+ times - Chris Dodd http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fraVollL3jQ
5+ times - Bill Richardson http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ec1SMiF6Wh0

Dennis Kucinich (not sure if it was someone who was just a fan vs. the campaign) used a public service channel to run an hour long speech recorded from a home recording. It was actually pretty smart to use that for access.

There were a couple times where I saw the 527 ads against Obama, but I'm not going to link those...sorry. I didn't see any other ads from other candidates, although I viewed TV after 9PM for two nights and only in the morning today.

As much as people don't like how Iowa and New Hampshire start off the Presidential race, what I find of value is that the candidates have to really be in the middle of crowds and show their stuff on issues and other types of vetting that TV ads just don't even get close to doing. For most people, the TV ads will be the only way for people to see the candidates except for a couple debates yet to happen.

As for my recent Iowa visit:
