Why does the democratically controlled Congress always cave in to the White House?

Why do they not listen to their "constituents" and vote their "constituents" wishes when those wishes are in the vast majority?

Why does the leadership of both Houses, after thousands of e.mails, telephone calls and letters endorse legislation that is detrimental to the country?

Why does Congress vote to authorize more money for the war in Iraq when they tell the American citizens that they do not support this war?

Why does not Congress, at the very least, raise an objection when Bush uses another "Signing Statement" to void the very piece of legislation that he just authorized?

Why does not Congress even acknowledge that the administration is lying to the people?

Why does not Congress even acknowledge that VP Cheney is acting outside the Constitution of The United States?

I have waited patiently for Congress to stand up as an elected body that is sworn to uphold the Constitution of The United States from all enemies both foreign and domestic. There is no doubt that enemies of The United States are within our borders. These enemies subvert the Constitution and The Bill of Rights with impunity.

The elected Congress does nothing to stop the eradication of the Constitution and in fact aids in the destruction of the Constitution of The United States.

Our elected "officials" have decided that they are far more able to handle the "complex" situations that face us today. They have decided that we the people are stupid and cannot possibly comprehend the gravity of the situation. I would like to tell them that we The People comprehend the situation perfectly and we see through their charade and can tell them that they are wrong and we are right.

I would like to be able to do that, but they won't listen and the majority of Americans ARE too stupid to realize what is happening to their country and to them. They do not realize that their freedoms are being taken away nor that they are being viewed as third class citizens nor that their "leaders" are directing them down the path of destruction. Destruction not only for them but for their children and grand children and great-grand children.

These fascists that have seized control of the government will not stop until all of your freedoms have been eliminated and they attain world domination. That has been tried before. The latest was when Adolph Hitler attempted to do the same thing. if you re-visit history you will find that this current "administration" is doing the same thing that Hitler tried to do.They are attempting to gain world domination through war and intimidation and do it for the benefits of the few. And believe me, YOU ARE NOT AMONG THE FEW.
