Why is Heath Shuler being praised on Tancredo's website? Updated at 8:17 PM

This is Tom Tancredo's website, dedicated to securing our nation's border. Other names which grace that website's front page are:

Tony Blankley
Peter Brimelow
Pat Buchanan
Ann Coulter
John Derbyshire
Marcus Epstein
Mark Krirkorian
Heather MacDonald
Michelle Malkin
John O'Sullivan
Steve Sailer
Robert Samuelson
Phyllis Schlafly
Thomas Sowell
Diana West

Looks like Rahm's handpicked Heath Shuler is in very good Republican company.

Team America: Save our Nation

Patriotic Democrats, led by Rep Heath Shuler (NC,) are trying to secure our borders by introducing the SAVE (Secure America Through Verification and Enforcement) Act. In addition to getting Democratic support the SAVE Act has managed to secure endorsements from Labor and Business organizations.

...."Amnesty supporters always say that both parties must come together and create a “bi partisan immigration reform bill.” Last Summer, Lindsay Graham went as far as saying “my job to work with Democrats to do hard things. This is no longer about immigration. Can your Congress, can your Senate, come together to do things that one party can't do itself?

Well, now there is a bipartisan immigration bill that actually reforms our immigration system rather than just opening our borders and granting amnesty. We need to put the pressure on members of both parties to support this bill!

Some argued with me when I posted that Rahm was urging the Democratic caucus to support Tancredo's bill, to move right on immigration to win.

Doesn't sound that far off base. I think more who attended the training by the DCCC have been verifying it to bloggers.

We don't need to join with the extreme folks in the GOP, we just need to not be afraid to put forth a sensible program that is far more than just enforcement.
