Maybe true for the moment on the narrow question of perceived post-Iraq management abilities, which nobody in either party really has a grip on (because, fyi, we can't manage Iraq...it's their country). But Clinton's feet are firmly planted in the wrong place on the bigger issue of the need to elect someone who can change this country for the better vs. electing someone who's selling experience above all. And a big reason why her so-called experience isn't compelling to many people is her initial and enduring support for this war.

If writing columns like this makes Beinart feel better about the no-man's land he has continually inhabited on Iraq, so be it. Beltway sophistry is his future anyway.
