Just sent this to my senators and rep regarding Mukasey.

Dear XXX

Since the election of 2006 I have been closely observing the actions of the Democratic controlled congress and senate in the hopes they would listen to their constituency and fight the horrible, criminal policies of the bush administration and their cronies. Sadly this has not happened.

I hereby surrender. Please support the confirmation of Mukasey so that George Bush can get on with the business of converting our once great democracy into the fascist dictatorship of his and Dick Chaney's dreams. Please insure that all American citizens become properly downtrodden beneath the heals of the administration and make certain no action, word, or even thought goes unseen, unheard, or unpunished. I want every American to know the absolute joy of being detained without the protection of habeaus corpus, and to know the bliss of being water-boarded without mercy.

My only remaining request is that those who do support Mukasey's nomination make it their solemn duty to bravely go first.

So, what's it going to be Senator? Do you support the constitution or will you support the final nail in our Democracy's coffin?
