We were told, both here and on his website and on MTV, that all he would do is sing a few songs. Later we find out that he not only MCed but had a half hour of apparently uninterrupted time, to spread his message of hate. We were told, repeatedly here and on his site, that Obama condemned McClurkin's message and would have no presence at the concert. Later we find out he introduced the acts by video and stated that McClurkin was a favorite of Obama and his wife. That is association, plain and simple.
