83. It's the old "hate the sin, love the sinner" thing.
Religious types normally hold that view of homosexuality. He wasn't saying that being a homosexual is being a thief, he's saying it's sinful. But you have to realize that jacking off is still a sin to these people, pre-marital sex of any sort is still a sin to them. You pretty much have to take the whole "sinner" thing with a grain of salt. Sadly, enough people hold to these primitive ways of thinking that you pretty much have to have endorsements from some of them. To exclude them would be political suicide. As bad as this endorsement for Clinton may be I don't believe it is as bad in degree as having a fire breathing anti-homosexual type endorsing you. I don't believe the Rev. Harold Mayberry is being hateful, he's just brainwashed. It's not like this dude is a Fred Phelps type.
