21. "freed... from positions making it difficult for us to win. "...Simon Rosenberg.
It has been an easy road to change to the way big business wanted things done. If you don't stand up for those who think you represent them....then nothing matters to you. A party like that will do what makes it easiest for them to get money.

And sadly the rest of us are left out in the cold.

"Simon Rosenberg, the former field director for the DLC who directs the New Democrat Network, a spin-off political action committee, says, "We're trying to raise money to help them lessen their reliance on traditional interest groups in the Democratic Party. In that way," he adds, "they are ideologically freed, frankly, from taking positions that make it difficult for Democrats to win."

Did you get that? They are getting corporate money and money from sources that will enable them to win without the base.

I don't know how else to say that. I really don't.

Did you get what Simon Rosenberg said? It is very powerful about where they were taking the party.

"they are ideologically freed, frankly, from taking positions that make it difficult for Democrats to win."
