the world. Won't be a good thing, at all, though. A Democratic President would be a great step forward in our present circumstances. That includes any of our primary candidates.

We stand to pick up some gains in both the House and Senate.

A Democratic President would go far to end the stonewall dance with our Congress this Administration is employing, enable a revamping of the Executive bureaucracy to avoid the disasters the inexperienced (R) partisans have fostered - from Iraq to Katrina - and help the government focus on the tasks at hand.
