He's probably sitting out the '08 election. There isn't a Republican he can vote for, and while he might vote for Fred Thompson he doesn't think anyone would vote for someone with lymphoma. Man I hope this is a sign!
He also asked me if I backed Hillary, I told him she's not my first choice and I wouldn't vote for her in the primary, but if she became the nominee I'm almost 100% I'd vote for her.
Hope this is the difference in '08 - a bunch of unhappy wingnuts and fundies sitting on their hands at home on election day while Dems are out there motivated.
