Here at DU, we were not in the dark. In fact, we frantically called and faxed Dems in DC asking/begging them not to vote for IWR back in October 2002.

It was bad enough to think that, for some inexplicable reason, the likes of Edwards, HRC, Biden, Dodd didn't know better but to learn that they likely KNEW and still voted 'yea' is despicable.

We, the people, have been abandoned by those who swore to uphold the Constitution. All the lives lost or otherwise forever changed, all the money squandered, all the good faith/world standing now destroyed, DID NOT HAVE TO HAPPEN :cry:
