This is the Obama campaign raising money for their candidate, not the DNC, DCCC or DSCC raising money for Democrats. So, I do not see the problem here. It could also be the case of a very unskilled telemarketer trying to fill a quota quickly. These calls are probably outsourced to a third party company. Send an email to the campaign and tell them what happened. They may be interested to know.
