Forgive me, as well, if I appeared to like Virginia "too much," but I have lived in Boston MA, Aspen CO and Hilton Head SC,.. as well as all over Virginia. No place else compares to the Chesapeake Bay OR the Blue Ridge Mts. But maybe that's just me.

---- Neither was I commenting one way or the other on any anti-gay mindset present in Virginia and reflected in Rep. Goode. That was not my purpose. I merely indicated that Goode was vulnerable, and could have been defeated in 2006.

---- And LOST, I've been around a bit (not to be sanctimonious, mind you) in Virginia poliics and journalism since 1969. I've been a city newspaper editor, as well as a writer-acct. executive for a major political marketing agency (under whose auspices I have worked for some of the other villians mentioned elsewhere in this thread, ie. the Revs. Falwell & Robertson) I've also worked for the Democrats and the '92 Perot campaign. Obviously there have been times when I had to divide my personal and professional sensibilities,... but not in the past 25 years, ok?
