27. To me, it is not so much positions as a basic decency...
in life -- such people usually make the right decisions.

How do I know he has that? I can never forget the scene last year on the
House floor when that wretch from Ohio all but called Murtha a coward --
Ford tried to rush her! Later some reporter who was there observed that
Ford was enraged and could not contain himself and if people had not
stopped him in his tracks, he really would have hit her!

Think about it -- why should this young, non-military man get so outraged
on behalf of an unrelated old codger? I find this totally amazing and
revealing of the person's character. Contrast him to old Joementum who
keeps tripping on his shoe laces running to the Senate floor to chastize
Dems for trivial/inconsequential transgressions...
