intervention with humankind as beginning in Genesis, an Old Testament text; nevertheless these folks' insistence that they are "Christians" provokes the scrutiny you seem willing to lend it.

In Dubya's case, I personally do not believe he is capable of advanced, layered ethical constructs. I think he's a brush-clearer, a pathological liar, an Oedipally-tormented little boy, and therefore unaligned with any ethical alliance, no matter the label.
