Just who *are* the Blogospherians?

The Pajama Jihadists

The Bunny Slipper Brigade

Keyboard Kon-key-sta-dores

All very funny

All very wrong

Moms and dads

Sons and daughters

Cops and joggers

Lawyers and model train enthusiasts

Square dancers and factory shift workers

Waitresses and Civil War reenactors

Consultants and Accountants

Software engineers and Sanitation engineers

Young and old, short and tall, man and woman, gay and straight

Catholic and Muslim, Jew and Espicopalian, Baptist and Unitarian

Atheist, secularist, pragmatist, environmentalist, artist, chemist, manicurist

Peacenick and hawk

And so much more.

We are America. We live on Main Street. We canvass, we donate, we piss and we moan.

We support and detract. We look for truth and we spread it.

We're not fringe.

We use the Internet to engage, to discuss, to learn, to organize, to plan, to promote, to build and tear down, to encourage and discourage.

We do exactly what we did in the Asphaltosphere and the Concreteosphere.

We just do it better and faster and more targeted and with more like minded people than we ever would have in those other o'spheres.

We're not fringe. We're just smarter early adopters.
