14. Maybe...maybe not.
Republicans are going to have a financial allocation issue in Novemeber. All that big out-of-state money Joe in the primary is going to be looking at Democrats (or Republicans) to fund. Why would Republicans be investing in an Indie Democrat? Joe's value is as a Republican supporting Democrat. A person who can be counted on to undermine his Party at critical policy points.

I really think Republicans are in trouble this cycle. They aren't raising the big money as in elections past and they have lots of elections to cover. Democrats won't be underwriting his campaign to beat the Democratic primary winner (his endorsement $ will be quite interesting to analyze).

He's made a career out of being the "go to" Democrat for the Republican corporate media...I doubt he'll have tht avenue open to him. That freebie will be lacking over the coming months.

I think Joe is going to find himself as a Party of One. Out of touch, out of workers, out of money, out of the media, and out of the running.
