He did. As a matter of fact no Dem voted against Scalia.

11 Dems voted with the Republicans to confirm Thomas. (Dems had a majority then)

When Bork was nominated Dems had enough spine to resist and we got a little better deal with Souter. Why couldn't we insist on a better deal with Scalia and Thomas? The Dems in the Senate share responsibility for our lousy right wing Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court was held over our head in the last election. We were told "if you don't vote for Gore we'll end up with more justices like Scalia"....but Gore....voted for Scalia!
