43. His Nibs Is Not An Idiot: He's Worse
His Nibs is not an idiot, he's something far worse and far more dangerous--he's a reckless fool. An idiot can't help being dumb, and most of them are fairly harmless. Dubya, on the other hand, has shown sufficient intelligence to portray an appealing political candidate and "war president" to nearly 50% of our electorate, and the determination to make disastrous decisions and stick with them regardless of the ghastly consequences.

I sometimes wonder what might have happened had Dubya been a genuine idiot. Then I think of Jeb Bush in the White House with Karl Rove at his side and start having the cold sweats.
