16. You basically waltzed around the entire point of my post
on purpose. Plus, misrepresented what I posted.

I began by mentioning how the Nazis and Communists had used these psy-ops techniques, and followed that by saying how those techniques were not widely used in American politics until resurrected by the Republicans beginning in the 1980's. Your header, "systems theory has been around a lot longer than 1980", is just an unspoken claim that I suggested otherwise, which, of course, I never did.

The point of my earlier post, put in question form: Yes or No? -- The Republicans of the 1980s commenced a still-continuing-of-theirs practice of using psy-ops/propaganda to help obtain office and win public support for their policies.
