| 41. Remember the term "craftsmen"? |
|
This has gone on for a long long time. In America people who do actualy work have a long history of being looked down on. I was told and beleive that the reason for the traditional hand shake at job interviews is so the person interviewing you has an opportunity to detect if your hands are calloused. Somehow having calloused hands makes you something of a leper. Problem is, as this attitude had continued over many years, people have shied away from crafts and now everyone thinks life begins and ends in a cube. But when you need something done, who ya gonna call?
