4. Brown is better than Hackett
He's a liberal with experience and name recognition who has consistently won, even in conservative districts. We've been begging him to run statewide for years, and we're glad he decided to.

Hackett is fine, but he's not ready for a statewide race in Ohio. No one wants to humiliate him, but he really wasn't ready for the race he was in. Sure, he developed a lot of internet charisma, but there wasn't much substance or political experience behind the bravado.

BTW, its not just my characterization of Hackett, but is a reflection of media opinion as well.

Ohio is on the upswing, returning to blue from red!
