30. I would imagine he could too, but one stated reason he decided not
to run when he left the Senate was his disgust with the decline of civility in the Senate. This year the Senate has been an order of magnitude worse. Kerry, for one, has spoken of several times. His comments before "Justice" Sunday - where he described how some Senator said that he had never seen anything like Voinivich refusing to go along on Bolton where such events were once common place.

The question is whether he would want to go into such a negative environment for the good of the country. It also is important to have someone commited to run in 2006 - so Bradley would need to commit to 7 years.

I would like him to pick Russ Holt as the selection would likely give a large amount of attention to Election reform as that has been an area Holt has been a leader in. From the small number of times I've heard him he is great and I think having someone with real tech knowledge would be a real gain for the Senate. (My apologies in advance if there is a Senator like this - I'm basing this on an old list of tech savvy Congressmen that was posted during the election because the only Senator on the list was Kerry - who doesn't have a technical background but worked hard to learn the issues to represent MA high tech industries.)
