My Boss asks me what I'm listening to and I say Randi Rhodes...

Here's a disclaimer or two.

I love my Boss.
He's kind, and he's gentle, and he's nurturing, and he's supportive.
Everything that most right wingers are not.
But sadly, he voted for Bush, and he seems to regret it.
Like me he's also ex-Air Force.
He's really proud of that, and that's one of the reasons we get along so well.

Last week he rolls into my office and he hears me listening to a playback of Randi's show.
She's on a roll, and she's skewering the Monkey and his criminal buddies.

"Whatcha listening to?" he asks.
"Air America, Randi Rhodes. You should check her out. She's like me only with breasts" I reply.

He rolls his eyes.

"She's nuts" he says.

"Nuts?" I ask. "Yeah" he says.
"OK Bushboy, answer me this" I respond.

"You have Rush, Sean Hannity, Michael Savage, Joe Scarborough, Laura Ingraham, and all these other right wing whack-jobs...
I have Randi Rhodes. You know what the difference is?"

"No" he says.

I say "Randi Rhodes is a Air Force vet... She used to work in Military Airlift command flying in those big ass cargo jets".

He just kind of stares at me.

"How many of these right wing hand-jobs you listen to do you think did time in a uniform?" I ask.

He thinks for a second and says to me... "What station is that?"
I say, "There is no station. We live in freakin' Missouri, they don't believe in any opinions that aren't conservative, this is the internets"

He busted out laughing and mumbled "The internets, that's pretty funny...you serious about that Air Force stuff?"

"Yup" I say. "SHE didn't have anal warts like your boy Rush"

That's when he walked away laughing.
