look at this quote:

“We have the smallest allocation per area of any state in the union.” That's probably true but....

Most of that "AREA" is uninhabited. Check out the "allocation per capita" figure and it's a whole different story.

Or, just for giggles divide the cost of the "bridge to nowhere" by the number of people on the island.....now divide that same amount of money by the number of people displaced by the hurricane in NO.
