Nixon did not end the war. It did not end until 1975, when he was out of office. Maybe it hasn't ended yet. I turned 17 in 1968, still an unbelievable year. By the way, here's another historical tidbit: More of our soldiers died in Vietnam under Nixon's regime than during Johnson's tenure. Nixon had a "secret plan," so secret it didn't exist. But, with all that, Bush has clearly knocked him off his perch as Worst President Ever.
