results. This is the end result of Privatization. This is why FEMA was turning away all those private charitable responses. Our government had delegated and abrogated its major reason for existence-the protection of it's citizenry. We exist solely for the money making opportunities we provide for the cronies of the in-crowd and it doesn't matter whether we are talking national security or health care or transportation or utilities or education. And we the taxpayers are bled dry and receive absolutely nothing in return.

By the way, this is not a no-tax, no-government screed. I would like to reap actual benefits from my tax dollars in the areas I listed above -security,healthcare,transportation and education. I resent paying tax dollars that are just siphoned off to line the pockets of the wealthy and the corporations while I have no healthcare, I can sit on a roof and rot if there's a disaster, I have no gas and no mass transit, I'll probably be burning dining room chairs this winter, my kids can't afford college without being burdened by crushing debt,and my retirement and pensions may be pipe dreams.
