But where do WE draw the line? How far OVER that line is acceptable? And if we continue to vote for Republican-lite (D)emocrats...wouldn't it eventually mean that the Right was successful in neutralizing the Democratic Agenda? It wouldn't be long before the two parties would converge into one....with only a small degree of separation.

The Right doesn't need to worry about banning abortion. All they need to do is wait until enough 'iffy on choice' Republican-lite Democrats are elected to office and they can simply get rid of it in a 'bipartisan' manner.

The 'greater good' must always be in the context of FOR THE PEOPLE. The greater good for the Democratic party should be about electing Democrats that believe strongly in our SHARED values and principles. NOT in sacrificing them in the name of 'winning'.
