4. Bayh is the former Chair of the DLC
When Bayh was Governor of Indiana, he build a centrist record. Bayh was a refreshing change when compared with the GOP idiots we had prior to him in the Governor's mansion. Compared to the crypto-nazi Mitch Daniels, Bayh looks like a raving New Dealer.

Bayh got a lot of Republicans votes every time he ran.
