Maybe if my dad had come back and said it out loud, he would have tried bashing his brains out and now speaks to no one or lets anyone close to him. He told me what they did over there. It haunts him to this day. And then he finds out it was all a big ass lie? When I read recently about how the rich oil companies were off shore drilling Viet Nam, I didn't even have the heart to bring it up to him.
