10. Keep it simple . . .
Cooper resists testifying and appeals all the way to SCOTUS . . .
Cooper resists testifying and Time turns over his emails . . .
Cooper resists testifying and the prosecutor says he has to, the Time disclosures are not sufficient . . .
Cooper resists testifying and the judge is about to sentence him . . .
Cooper now wants to avoid jail but has no arrows left in his quiver. The problem is, he's spent months making himself out as some kind of hero for resisting, and you can't just back away from such a "principled stand."
My guess? He made up the whole "dramatic communication" to save face. Has anyone asked to see this communication, or are they just taking Cooper's word for it? Also, the only one who can call Cooper on his B/S is the leaker himself.
