When we win back our government, can we abolish the GOP?

I mean, seriously. That party and everything for which it now stands needs to be sent packing like the American Whigs of old. They are totally out of touch and out of control with the spirit and intent of the founding fathers. And as it should now be painfully obvious everyone here, they won't leave office without some serious, concentrated pressure applied by the still sane citizenry of this nation.

When that day comes, and you better believe that it WILL come, I am not favoring one party "payback" rule by the Dems as an alternative, however. In fact, I think the One-Party rule being foisted upon this country now by the Rethuglicans is Exibit A in the case for a Multi-Party government. Just like in capitalism, Monopoly = Bad; Diverse & Competitive Market = Better Choices that serve the consumer. Same with legitimate, viable choices in voting. Our electoral system is in dire need of an overhaul that will prevent this kind of single-party dominance and abuse from ever happening again.
