Feingold will carry big river and the prairie. Think Montana is going to go for a New England DLCer? Wanna bet that Russ makes Montana blue? Wanna bet that Russ flips Iowa back to its rightful color? Wanna bet that the great lakes states all vote for Feingold in greater numbers in 08 than they did for Kerry in 04 should Russ get the nomination? Longbets.com?
Feingold is a progressive-populist who communicates his ideas well and has outstanding charisma. Kerry is a DLCer who communicates his ideas poorly and lacks charisma. Russ's voting record is spotless have you been paying attention to the explosion of civil liberties efforts in recent weeks? Have you seen the polls coming out of the prairie about the Patriot act?
He has all of the positive aspects of what the mass media refers to as liberalism while having none of the negative qualities that they infer by the label liberal.
