this was like they were chatting over a glass of wine, a slice of apple and some cheese and crackers.

This exchange made no sense to me at all. It was a contest over who knew more than the other.

I am sorry,I think Senator Kerry is a good man, but this was a little out of it, imo and contributed little except to display Kerry's grasp of events, and also,btw, Rice's.

As for the condition of our nation-as for the deaths in an illegal war,--as for the lies, as for the abject disregard of the people of this nation and their condition--neither of them seem to have a clue or seem inclined to want to change it.

He might very well vote for her confirmation and I would not be surprised.
