Unitarian and turned me on to the New Republic when it was really liberal is an avowed Chimp lover. And she was a HISTORY teacher, too!! Every time I point out some crap he's doing she just refuses to acknowledge it.
I chalk it up to old age, but it's something else. Meaness, getting even for something, wanting people to suffer becaue she had a tough life...but a lot more people have had it tougher.
I just can't stand being in the same house with her most of the time.
