Jim Bunning: at lunch, he's out to lunch
Advertisements [?]

A poster at Kos reports on the Ky. Senate race:

I just watched the 6 o'clock news on WAVE3 and WHAS11 and saw highlights of Bunning's Rotary Club appearance in Louisville today. He was asked what he thought about the reservist unit that refused orders in Iraq because of concerns about safety (one of the reservists is from KY, hence the question). Bunning said, "I don't know anything about it. I haven't watched the national news or read a paper in the last six weeks."

A sitting United States senator has not read a newspaper since Labor Day.

What gives, Bluegrassers?
