An uphill battle. Kerry down 7 points in latest poll of Oct. 4, but Bush won here in 2000 by over 13 points.

Anecdotal evidence was positive for Kerry in the past few weeks -- Dems with a 600,000 voter advantage over Repukes in registered voters, Kerry yard signs and bumper stickers popping up like crazy, BUT the Repukes have started to respond in kind. It's going to be closer than people are expecting. My prediction: Kerry by 8,000 votes.
