18. Here in Missouri the gay marrige amendment passed
70% to 30 %. Cheney's gay daughter is going to keep some of Bush's base from voting and will not be an issue that the republicans will want to dwell on. You can bet that the Kerry campaign did lots of focus groups on this and it will turn the wedge issue back on the republicans. It's about time that democrats learned to turn a wedge issue around.
