24. Anybody walking around Ground Zero and wondering what

happened to building 7 would have looked at the Bankers Trust building and WFC3
and seen the sections of tower perimeter columns hanging there.

They would have then quite reasonably formed the hypothesis that flying
tower perimeter columns damaged WTC7. They then would have watched
as the WTC7 debris pile was taken apart and when they found the perimeter
columns in the pile they would have taken a picture and said "Ahah! I
found the missile that brought WTC7 down! I solved the mystery."

There is no such picture, and no one has come forward, and NIST gives the
structural damage hypothesis no respect whatsoever. Probably because the
descriptions of the damage were all over the map. One guy said a 20-story
gash, another said a 4-story gash between 3 and 6, another said it was
a bulge between 10 and 13.

I'm beginning to suspect that what really happened was that after two towers
blew up the men refused to go into Building 7 (and I don't blame them one bit)
and the chiefs made up these stories to cover that up, but they were honest
enough not to get together and make their accounts consistent.
